This is a great handforged metal fireplace screen that has been distressed to have an antique look. It has a "shabby chic" appearance. The piece is intentionally distressed and has worn paint and a loosely applied metal mesh backing for protection from flames. Looks great with my "Architectural Ceiling Tin Art Pieces".
